A) For 2012, the cost of Camp Koinonia will be
$325.00 per camper.
Q) Where is Camp Koinonia held.
A) Camp Koinonia is held at the Clyde M. York,
4-H Training Center located in Crossville,
Tennessee.

A) Unfortunately at this time, we do not have a
way to provide the children a ride to camp.
There are some circumstances where you may be
able to carpool with another camper. Call our

Q) What medical staff is present?
There is at least one Registered Nurse (RN) on
site in the medical clinic at all times. One

clinic. All medical staff must be med certified
as well as up-to-date on all licensing and
certifications such as 1st Aid & CPR.
Q) If we cannot afford the entire camp fee can
my child still attend?
A) A limited number of scholarships are
available in order to defray some of the cost
to attend Camp Koinonia. Call our staff for
more information.
Q) Will I be able to call my child while he/she
is at camp?
A) Yes.
Q) Will I get to meet my child's counselor
before camp?
A) Absolutely! We hold a 'Gym Night' on UTK's
campus prior to camp and invite all campers and
their families to attend. Letters are mailed
out to families a few weeks in advance
indicating date, time & exact location. This
provides families and perspective campers the
opportunity to meet not only the counselor but
the entire cabin group. You will have the
opportunity to see how the camper and his/her
counselor and cabin group interact as well as a
few of the activities/games we do at camp.
